Hello from Wisconsin Rapids,
Sienna, the little bear, visited to help in the traditional Christmas tree decorating at Grandma's house.
It was a busy time, filling the house with Christmas decorations and trims. Sienna was most helpful setting up the Nativity and hearing about the German traditions of Christmas.
Sienna also helped in the installation of Grandma's new printer for her consulting business.
Grandma is a legal nurse consultant; she has contracts with several attorneys and provides them with medical information to assist their clients in legal matters.
Sienna bid farewell to Grandma on a snowy morning to return to Eau Claire.
Grandma, Patricia Raymond
Hello Hannah and Sienna! I am writing from Toronto, Ontario, Canada! Although I have not met Sienna myself, she looks very cuddly and cute. Do you guys have a lot of snow? We have about 3 or 4 inches of snow right now. Oh, yes I'm supposed to write what I do. I am a dietitian, and I don't have a job, so I cook, clean, shop, do laundry and look after my cat, Crabman, and think about my friends in Wisconsin! Hope this helps! Love, Beth
Hi, Beth! we have lots of snow here. We had to shovel a lot of ice and snow on the driveway today! mom's going to show me the picture of your cat! How are you and Peter? Thank you for writing me! I really wish we could see you, and we really miss you. Love, Hannah
Hi Hannah and Sienna! Lots of hugs and kisses coming your way from Morris Plains, New Jersey! Our snow and ice has washed away with our recent rain.
I just came back from a long weekend in Ireland. Ireland is an island in northwest Europe in the North Atlantic Ocean. It took us 4.5 hours to get there, and 7 hours to get home by plane!!
I work from home for a publishing company in New York City. It takes about 45 minutes to get into the city by bus when I have to go in for a meeting (once a year!)
Uncle Carlos, Jess and the Triplets send their love!
Looking forward to meeting Sienna in person!
Love,
Aunt Sue
PS: I miss playing Rummikub with you guys! And the game you taught us with the polished stones....
Thank you Ant Susan. We love to ply Moncala, and Mom and I play Rumicube together. I'ts fun! We just got back from Minocqua, Wisconsin. We had lots of snow there! We have lots of snow here, too. Mom says you can have some of ours.
Love Hannah
Hi Hannah and Sienna! It's rainy and cold in Chatham, New Jersey. It must be very interesting getting all these comments from all over the U.S.!
I hope Aunt Susan and I can come visit you again this summer! We still can't believe how friendly your Hummingbirds are and how often they visit! Stock up on Nectar for the birds and Olsons Ice Cream for us, and we'll be there in a flash!
We hope you have been practicing Rummikub, because Aunt Susan and I play every time we get together!
We love and miss you! Lots of hugs and kisses for everyone! (even Earl and Rocky!)
Love you!
Nagymama
Thanks, Nagymama. We want to see you again too. We had fun over the summer when you were here. You would like Sienna if you saw her, too. I love you. Hannah
I Hannah and Sienna! I am Martha from Edwardsville, Illinois. I haven't seen you in a long time and I love to come and visit you. My boys would love to come and play in the snow. I am a homeschooling mom.
Hey Sienna/Hannah :D
I have a white polar bear that would like to meet Sienna. Her name is Maya. She loves the snow, but is warm and fuzzy ;)
Give Sienna lots of love!
Love and Bye,
Maya/Jason
Hi, Jason! Thanks for your comment! I know that not only Sienna, but Hannah would love to meet Maya the polar bear! And I'd bet Maya would *love* to come visit us in the frozen tundra, aka Eau Claire! :-) (Yes, Jason, that *was* a hint! :-))
So, you moved from Addison--are you now back in the state of Washington?
Hi Sienna and Hannah,
Greetings from New York City :) I have a blue bear named ... Blue Teddy, who looks a lot like Sienna! He sleep in my son Fynn's crib now, but used to sleep with me for years. He has a friend Green Bear too, who my son Douglas slept with for years. I'd love to meet Sienna some day, and see you again. Remember me?!
Bethany
Hi from NYC :) I have a blue bear named ... Blue Teddy, who's been with me for years and years. He sleeps with my son Fynn now. He has a friend Green Bear, who was my son Douglas' best friend when he was a baby. Maybe Sienna can meet them some day :) I'd love to see you and your family again some day, NY isn't too far from NJ you know! Remember me?
Bethany
Thanks ***so*** much for commenting on Hannah's blog, Bethany! They all remember you, and also remember the "rides" Michael gave them in the hallways of Bible Truth Publishers! :-)
Hello from Bothell WA, just outside of Seattle. Thanks for introducing me to your little friend. She looks alot like some of the new little ones I help bring into the world, warm and cuddly. In case you cannot guess I am a nurse that helps the moms have their babies!!! Lots of hard work.
Maybe someday I'll be able to meet Sienna in person, till then take care.
Love Anna
{{{Thanks, Anna!}}}
Hi and Greetings from Lake in the Hills, Illinois
Sienna came to meet our office staff in West Dundee, Illinois; but unfortunately I was not in on the day Sienna visited.
Sienna you are quite a good looking bear, and I bet you have lots of friends. I know you have a great friend in Hannah.
I look forward to meeting you, in person, on your next trip through Illinois.
Blessings,
Kathy Larson
Thanks, Kathy! We look forward to seeing you *next* time, too! :-)
This was such a fun project! Recently, I was leafing through Sienna's travel book, and it brought back so many fond memories! :-)
I will add both of our foreign exchange students from Spain (Madrid) also met Sienna! :-)
... WHEREZ MUH KITTEH?!
Oh... should i stay on topic?
Umm... Never seen Sienna. Why didn't you show it to me in 08? am i so un importiant?... I'm hurt.
Your Hurt cousin, Jack
LOL Well, Sienna was at Christmas '07 @ Uncle Timmy's and Aunt Kris's. She's kinda shy, and a home body, too, so doesn't get out too much, now adays.
Nuts--you *could* have seen her at Christmas in '08 when you all were here! But I think she was hiding with all the other animules while everyone was here. Earl and Toby wanted ~out!~ to see everybody!..., but Rocky and Sienna were hiding. I think you or some of your siblings might have seen Hermie, Hannah's guinea pig, and everyone saw the fish!!! :-)
Javier and also Maria the year before, got to meet Sienna. They are both from Madrid, Spain. Javier will see Sienna again, soon! :-)
Yeong So was also here from Korea and came with the Studtmann family who were visiting us from Oregon. Sienna said she saw Yeong So, but I don't know if he saw her... . She is a shy little bear!
